How Our Vintage Prints Came Back to Life
For over seventy years, our family has told stories through color, pattern, and play. The vintage 'Iolani Sportswear prints in our archives were never meant to sit in storage — they were meant to move, stretch, and live under the Hawai'i sun. Each season, we carefully bring these prints back to life on new fabrics that are built for kids, not closets.
Our process starts by scanning and restoring hand-painted art from decades past. We then adapt the colors for modern wear while honoring the original artist’s intention. The result? Prints that carry the soul of the past with the function of today’s activewear.
When Alika and Kaleo test these pieces, we’re reminded why this work matters — heritage isn’t about looking back; it’s about moving forward with purpose.
